🤫 Authentic Bulgogi Marinade
- 4 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 Asian pear or apple, grated (tenderizer secret!)
- 1 tablespoon gochujang paste
- Black pepper to taste
🛒 Bowl Ingredients (Serves 2)
- 300g beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 1 cup cooked white rice per bowl
- 2 eggs (fried)
- 1/2 cup kimchi
- 1 cup spinach, wilted
- 1 cucumber, sliced
- Shredded carrots and sesame seeds
- Gochujang sauce to drizzle
👩🍳 Instructions
- Mix all marinade ingredients together
- Slice beef very thin against the grain
- Marinate beef minimum 30 minutes (overnight = best!)
- Cook beef in very hot pan 2-3 minutes per side
- Assemble bowls: rice base, beef, all toppings
- Fry egg and place on top
- Drizzle gochujang and sesame seeds
- Serve immediately!
