🛒 Ingredients (Serves 2)
- 300g chicken breast, diced small
- 2 cups cooked cold rice (day-old works best!)
- 1 cup kimchi, roughly chopped
- 2 eggs
- 3 green onions, sliced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon gochujang paste
- 1 teaspoon honey
- Sesame seeds to garnish
🤫 The Gochujang Sauce Ratio
- 1 tablespoon gochujang
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Mix together — this is the secret!
👩🍳 Instructions
- Season chicken with salt, pepper, and 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- Cook chicken in hot skillet until golden and crispy — set aside
- In same skillet, saute garlic 1 minute
- Add kimchi and cook 3 minutes until slightly caramelized
- Add cold rice and press into pan — cook 3 minutes without stirring
- Add gochujang sauce and stir to combine
- Push rice to side and fry 2 eggs in center
- Return chicken to pan and mix everything
- Top with fried egg, green onions, and sesame seeds
